Since the conclusion of his high school career quarterback Anthony Alford of Petal, Miss. joked that he's been able to maintain a semblance of normalcy in the midst of his recruiting process. No major obstacles have arisen or fires to be put out since Petal came up short to Olive Branch (35-34) in the Class 6A state championship game two weeks ago.
