West Virginia has had success in the past with a tall-rangy safety from the Miami, Fla. area when Robert Sands patrolled the secondary for the Mountaineers, and now a Champagnat Catholic H.S. product is interested in following in his footsteps.

Isaac McDonald, a 6-foot-6, 205-pound junior, had been compared to the former Mountaineer safety a number of times over the course of his high school career, so naturally he wanted to see him in action.
