NFL Boilers: Brees gives

Drew Brees has his Saints back to .500 after winning five of the last six following an 0-4 start.

But perhaps more importantly, at least to those struggling on the East Coast, Brees is helping off-the-field, too, donating $1-million to a Hurricane Sandy relief fund.

Brees will talk about the gift on Friday on CBS.

Over the years, Anthony Spencer has been criticized at times in Dallas.

But he might be changing minds based on his play of late.

Spencer, who keeps coming up with big plays at the end of games, like he did vs. Cleveland on Sunday, is becoming a crunch-time player.

Rob Ninkovich has now tied New England's record for forced fumbles in a season, with his fifth Sunday against the Colts.

Ninkovich hasn't always been a household name in the New England area, although his play of late is getting him closer. Jets coach Rex Ryan - the Pats play in New York on Thanksgiving - is getting more familiar.

Defensive tackle Mike Neal is becoming a factor for Green Bay.

Dustin Keller's season hasn't gone exactly as planned, with an injury keeping him out of the lineup early and the Jets' anemic offense not helping either.

But he's welcomed a new new addition a couple months ago.

Dennis Kelly made his third consecutive start for the Eagles Sunday, but at a new position.

After starting two games at right guard, Kelly was at a more familiar post - right tackle - in the loss at Washington.

Philly has certainly had its offensive problems, and the line's been part of that. But Kelly had an honest view of Mike Vick in a recent Sports Illustrated.

The following is a look at the NFL Boilers, their roles and their Week 11 statistics.
