Hazell focused on Kent State for now

MOBILE, Ala. - Since hopping on a plane from Dallas and Purdue's bowl game back to Ohio three days ago, Darrell Hazell has set his focus firmly on Kent State.
After leading the Golden Flashes to their first bowl game in 40 years - they'll play Arkansas State in the GoDaddy.com Bowl on Sunday - Hazell was adamant about finishing what he'd started. So he'll be on the sidelines, despite already being named the next coach for the Boilermakers.
It's been challenging at times to find the right balance between the schools, but for now, Hazell is trying to enjoy the time in Mobile with the team he's grown to cherish.
