Exit Interview: Akeem Shavers

Akeem Shavers started every game as Purdue's running back in 2012, rushing for nearly 900 yards.
A good season by many standards, especially considering the Boilermakers had another No. 1 back in Ralph Bolden.
But a closer look at the numbers - the eight games with 12 or fewer carries - shows just how truly special Shavers' season was. And how much better those numbers could have been had he been given a chance to carry the load.
In our "Exit Interview," Shavers says he has no regrets about his two-year career in West Lafayette. But he knows he has more to give, and he's hoping NFL scouts see that.
