Smith makes splash at RCS Chicago
PARK RIDGE, Ill. - Michigan State commitment Enoch Smith made quite a splash at the Rivals Camp Series presented by Under Armour event this past weekend in suburban Chicago.
Smith impressed camp coaches and recruiting analysts with his strength, technique and explosiveness.
Smith was one of the finalists for the defensive line MVP award, which eventually went to 6-foot-1, 230-pound defensive end Gelen Robinson.
In terms of defensive tackles, Smith and Wisconsin soft commitment Craig Evans were the most impressive. Ohio State commitment Dylan Thompson also had some good moments.
Evans, ranked No. 190 in the country, is still speaking with Michigan State.
