Kerrigan commits

GoldandBlack.com Last recruiting season, Purdue had to wait until almost literally the last second before landing an in-state recruit.
This year, there will be no such concern.
Around noon Wednesday, the Boilermaker coaches received a commitment from one of Indiana's top players, when Muncie Central defensive end/tight end Ryan Kerrigan called assistant coach Mark Hagen to commit.
Kerrigan also had offers from Indiana, Ball State, Northern Illinois and Cincinnati.
The 6-foot-4, 233-pounder, one of the Boilermaker coaches' earliest offers, has been recruited for both offense and defense.
