Tyson Jackson drew everyone's attention on Arizona's first play from scrimmage last Saturday.

Wildcats quarterback Willie Tuitama completed a 12-yard pass and was hit by Jackson just before he threw the ball. Jackson was penalized 15 yards.

"When it first happened, I didn't think it was a late hit," Jackson said. "The referee said that I put my helmet down and speared him at the last minute. He told me the penalty was for spearing. After watching the film, I didn't think it was that vicious."
