Nice junior day turnout
Arkansas got to play host to around 60 recruits on Saturday at Junior Day with RazorFest and the Red-White game among the festivities.
A couple of the top recruits present were Tallahassee (Fla.) FAMU running back Richard Watson, 6-foot-1, 225 pounds, 4.5 seconds in the 40-yard dash, and Warren wide receiver Jarious Wright, 5-foot-11, 180 pounds, 4.4 seconds in the 40. Both have multiple scholarship offers, including ones from Arkansas.
Wright's father came to Junior Day with him, but he had to head off the Oklahoma coaches before heading to Fayetteville.
"I told them my dad was a big Arkansas fan," Wright said when asked by the OU coaches why he was visiting Arkansas. "They told me that wasn't a good reason and started giving me other names of top players who didn't go to their home state, but I told them I was going to make my own decision and go to Arkansas this weekend."
