May 13, 2012 According to CatsIllustrated.com, the Rivals.com site covering Kentucky, fifth-year Wright State transfer Julius Mays committed to Kentucky after returning from an official visit to Purdue.Mays, a Marion native who averaged 14-plus points per game at Wright State this season after beginning his college career at North Carolina State, will have one season to play in Lexington. Purdue was pursuing Mays to help fill void next season at point guard, where the Boilermakers are projected to have only one "true" point next season, that being freshman Ronnie Johnson. |
