Hummel - as much as people might hate this, I'll never forget the moment he was sitting on the bench at the end of the VCU game in tears. So many great in game memories I can say, but I'll never forget that moment. It proved to me that this is more that basketball to him. I don't think it had anything to do with being selfish...he felt truly bad for ET and JJ. That was a hard moment to stomach as a man and as a boilermaker, but it made me love the kid that much more.
LewJack - The hundreds of contested layups where he ended up on the floor and the ball still went in. Specifically the string of three he made in a row against MSU at home last year on the game day game. He has a knack for getting the ball in the hole somehow.
Smith - Getting a five second call in the WVU game at home on new years day. That was the moment I started to love the kid's fire. One of my all time favorites.
