...in the 2nd round of the NCAA's. The winner moves into the sweet 16 and plays at the Texas regional (hosted by A&M)...The Boilers defeated VCU 3-0 (27-24-21) while C-of-C got by UNC 3-1...They (C-of-C) have the best record in the tournement (31-1). Of the 6 Big 10 teams in the field, only Northwestern lost (to 3rd seed ND)...The Irish would be the highest seed at A&M if everybody wins that supposed to. Wisconsin would also be part of that regional if the Badgers can get there. The Boilers are now 24-8 (most wins since 1987)!

Great news for the Boilermakers. Thats back to back years of first round wins. Any word on how good C of C really is? Beating UNC on their home court means they have to be respectable. The real question is obviously their conference affiliation and just how strong that 30 win season really is. Hope the Boilermakers take advantage and move on tomorrow night!
