Brian - Your OP is very well written and provide a Mizzou fan not only some insight into Painter's position but great perspective into your site and fan base. To echo what my other cohorts have said. I'm sure it will not be an issue, but I hope that if any negotiations do take place between Mizzou and Painter; that they happen in a much more professional manner than what we have been through the past several days. We would love to have a coach of the quality Mr. Painter, but do now understand what it like to be on the wrong (I guess only future will say for sure) side of the end result. You can imagine why we as fans fans of Mizzou would want someone like Coach Painter on our team. How ever this goes down, I wish you guys the best of luck and after reading posts the likes of Brian's and I may have to visit a little more often. Thanks.
