In essence if Painter leaves those are the only two coaches I think Purdue fans would even be willing to look at. No one else (Smart at VCU etc...) knows Indiana like they do and could step in and keep the recruits coming right away. Anything else is a huge step back.

MB will just have to take his PSL money and transfer it to Painter's account.
