Michigan a childhood favorite for Sheldon Day

When Michigan loses senior Mike Martin to graduation following the 2011 season, they will be left with just three scholarship defensive tackles on their roster. The defensive tackle position is expected to be one of need in the Wolverines' 2012 class, and one prospect they've targeted is Indianapolis (Ind.) Warren Central's Sheldon Day.

The 6-2, 268-pound Day recently hit the double digit mark in scholarship offers. Michigan was one of the schools that helped him get there.
