Georgia certainly isn't a recruiting territory Wisconsin has spent a good deal of time in since Bret Bielema has been in charge of the football program, though things have changed a bit in regards to the current junior class.
When assistant coaches were delegated assignments earlier this year, first-year defensive backs coach was given the Peach State in addition to his in-state responsibilities.
Since then, the Badgers have been associated with a handful of prospects from that area, the latest being 2013 cornerback Trey Cheek.
"Earlier in my recruiting I spoke with coach (Chris) Ash," Cheek told BadgerBlitz.com Tuesday evening. "I sent him my film and he responded with his number and said that he liked my film. I called him and we spoke for a little bit. He was telling me a little bit about the program. He told me I should start calling him often.
