Sooners Get Serious About Missouri Commit

You can now add Stilwell (Kan.) Blue Valley 6-foot-6 and 265-pound offensive tackle prospect,Clay Rhodes name to the growing list of prospects with an Oklahoma offer that are committed elsewhere. The three-star prospect had displayed interest in Oklahoma and actually took a visit to Norman back in April. After leaving Norman without an offer he later made his decision that same month and chose Missouri over other programs like Iowa State, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Purdue and Oregon State.

Rhodes talked about his commitment to Missouri and how his relationship with the Tiger coaches has improved since he made his decision.

"It's really good right now," Rhodes said of his connection with Missouri. "I've been continuing to build relationships with the coaching staff. I've been going up to a lot of games and experiencing the Mizzou atmosphere, which is awesome. And I've really enjoyed it and I am happy that I committed there."

After Rhodes committed his contact with Kittle kind of disappeared for a while but a few weeks ago the Sooners offensive tackles coach called the Blue Valley product and let him know that he was coming to a game of his. And obviously, Kittle liked what he saw.
