NFL Boilers: Wildcard Weekend

Baltimore coach John Harbaugh wants Bernard Pollard to lower his strike zone after an illegal hit vs. the Colts on Sunday.

The former Boilermaker safety was called for a helmet-to-helmet hit, then later taunted the Indianapolis sideline, although he says he was provoked. Pollard expects to be fined for the hit on Colts receiver Reggie Wayne.

After missing the latter half of the Patriots' season-finale with a hip injury, Rob Ninkovich expects to be back for New England's Division Round playoff game.

Ninkovich, a defensive end, is the Pats' leader in sacks this season.

In his third season in the NFL, Mike Neal has finally become a regular contributor, overcoming the doubters.

Purdue might get a representative in the Pro Bowl.

Robert Griffin III's injury could push Drew Brees into the game. Brees was left off the NFC roster, despite leading the league in yards and touchdowns this season.

Brees is also a finalist for GMC's Never Say Never Moment of the Year.

Could the Seahawks again be looking at Ray Edwards?

Seattle lost its best pass-rusher, Chris Clemons, to an ACL injury in a win over Washington Sunday afternoon, leaving space at D-end. And the organization already worked out Edwards once, around Christmas, before deciding not to sign the former Falcon.

But considering Atlanta is the next opponent, some are speculating that Edwards could get a call.

The following is a look at the NFL Boilers, their roles and their Wildcard Weekend statistics.
