Dorien Bryant Clear Of The Clearinghouse

A scare — albeit a minor one — has been averted for the Purdue football program.
After a one-day exile, heralded freshman Dorien Bryant has been cleared to return to practice after a discrepancy with the NCAA's eligibility clearinghouse pulled him off the practice field.

“Our academic advisor for football, Mark Shook, has informed me that the NCAA Clearinghouse has approved Dorien, and he is all set," sports information director Tom Schott said late Monday afternoon. "He will be at practice Tuesday.”
Bryant is expected to see ample action at wide receiver this season, and may also return punts and/or kickoffs.
