On the first Wednesday of June, Cornel Jones graduated from Miami Central High School, hopped on a plane for Indiana, skipped his last day of classes the following day, stayed in a Lafayette area hotel for a few days, then enrolled at Purdue.
He was moved in with other newcomers on June 11.
Needless to say, it was a whirlwind couple days. We caught up with the rookie linebacker a few days before he left his Miami, Fla., home for his Entrance Interview:
