Four-star in-state linebacker spends some time at Purdue
One of the top defensive prospects in Indiana’s 2019 class turned was on Purdue’s campus last week for a recruiting visit that wasn’t necessarily meant to be a recruiting visit.
During an Andrean High School-sponsored college visit day for its students, Cameron Williams visited West Lafayette along with classmates and teachers and was able to spend time around some of the coaches recruiting him, an experience the Rivals.com four-star prospect enjoyed.
“It’s a great atmosphere, a great campus,” said Williams, whose older brother attended Purdue. “I love Purdue. It’s home.”
