FORT WAYNE - A relatively new name in Purdue's search for a big man in its 2014 signing class is Steve McElvene of New Haven High School in Fort Wayne.
The massive 6-foot-11, 275-pound move-in from Alabama has improved rapidly since arriving in Indiana last year and has stood out this spring and summer playing for various Spiece teams.
