For the third time in four weeks, a Purdue basketball player has been named the Big Ten's Player-of-the-Week.
After Keaton Grant won the award three weeks ago and E'Twaun Moore shared it last week, Robbie Hummel's earned the nod this week, following two more Boilermaker wins.
Most recently, Hummel scored a career-high 21 points in Purdue's win at No. 8 Wisconsin, making 8-of-12 shots.
Previously, he scored 17 against Penn State.
During the two-game run, he made 14-of-21 shots, including 5-of-9 from three-point range.
Purdue's 19-5, 10-1 in the Big Ten - a half game ahead of Indiana atop conference standings - and riding a nine-game winning streak.
