In-state linebacker becomes Purdue's second 2019 commitment

A day after being offered by Purdue during an unofficial visit, Michigan City linebacker Chase Triplett said Monday night that he's committed to the Boilermakers.

"I've talk to other schools and visited them and Purdue just felt like home," Triplett said. "They're tops in the country academically, the football team is on the rise, they have a great coaching staff and its close to home. It's the entire package."

The 6-foot-3, 215-pounder joins four-star defensive end George Karlaftis as Purdue 2019 commits.
