Late addition: Purdue to sign Florida linebacker for 2018 recruiting class
Signing day at Purdue brought with it an addition, as the Boilermaker coaching staff added linebacker Jack Smith to its 2018 signing class on Wednesday afternoon.
The 6-foot-3, 200-pound outside linebacker from Florida state power Lakeland High School announced for Purdue Wednesday over Cincinnati and Western Kentucky after he'd been previously committed to Syracuse.
Smith officially visited West Lafayette this past weekend.
He joins early signee Jaylan Alexander at linebacker in Purdue's class.
