Cincinnati coach Butch Jones will not come to Purdue, a source confirmed to GoldandBlack.com Tuesday morning.
Targeted from the beginning of Purdue's search for Danny Hope's successor, Jones interviewed with Boilermaker athletic director Morgan Burke Sunday, as Jones and his wife, Barbara, spent about four hours in West Lafayette.
Monday, the Jones, his wife and his agent, Trace Armstrong, visited Colorado, which has also offered its vacant head coaching position to him.
The Cincinnati Enquirer has reported that UC has sought to retain Jones by offering an enhanced compensation package and promises of facility upgrades.
It is expected that Jones will decide today whether he'll take the Colorado job or remain with the Bearcats.
