Purdue knows it wants Shawn Munnerlyn.

For which position, that remains to be seen.

The 6-foot-5, 205-pounder from Independence High School in Columbus is listed by Rivals.com as a wide receiver, the position Wisconsin, for one, is showing interest in him for.

As for Purdue ...

"They like me because I can play either side of the ball," Munnerlyn said. "They said they see a lot of upside at tight end but they also see a lot of upside at outside linebacker. They say they'd have a lot of decisions to make but they definitely want me."
