Purdue will sign receiver today
Purdue will sign Florida wide receiver Javonte Ferguson of Oakleaf High School in Orange Park.
Known for his speed, the 5-foot-8, 160-pounder committed to Purdue this past weekend during an official visit. His high school coaches confirmed the commitment.
He was previously committed to Oregon State before the two sides parted ways this winter.
Ferguson is expected to join Benaiah Franklin, Terrance Landers and Jackson Anthrop as likely wide receiver prospects in Purdue's class, in addition to already signed offensive athlete Jack Wegher.
