Purdue pushed back its practice Friday and shortened it, the day after its first two-a-day off-campus. The Boilermakers got about an hour, 15 minutes of work in heading into Saturday’s kick scrimmage and two-a-day.

David Blough and Elijah Sindelar both got first-team snaps at quarterback on Day 8.

• Linebacker Markus Bailey had the only interception of the day, picking off Blough.

• Defensive end Tim Faison was in a red penney Friday after exiting Thursday’s afternoon practice early. He got “dinged” during a period, so likely will need to pass concussion protocol before returning to practice.

Though the team wasn’t in pads, running back Richie Worship did have a couple carries in team drills, a good sign for the redshirt freshman who missed Thursday with a back injury and is a factor in the race for the backup spot.
