Ross suspended

Purdue wide receiver O.J. Ross has been suspended indefinitely for "violation of team rules," the athletic department announced Friday.
It's the latest issue for the senior-to-be, slated to be the Boilermakers' top returning receiver.

Ross was suspended for the 2011 Little Caesar's Pizza Bowl for reasons later learned to be related to academics. He was reinstated during the spring that followed, after former coach Danny Hope said that his scholarship had temporarily pulled.
As a junior last season, Ross caught 56 passes for 454 yards and two touchdowns, missing two-and-a-half games due to a toe injury.
