Short earns Big Ten honor
Boilermaker defensive tackle Kawann Short has been named co-Big Ten Defensive Player-of-the-Week following Purdue's 21-14 win over No. 23 Illinois Saturday.
The junior recorded three-and-a-half tackles for loss against the Illinois, including two of Purdue's season-best four sacks.
Short finished with six tackles.
