Weatherford offered

Purdue offered 2015 guard Grant Weatherford Saturday morning during a campus visit, Weatherford said prior to the Boilermaker program's alumni game.
The Hamilton Heights two-sport standout impressed Purdue coaches in July with his gritty play in teaming with Boilermaker commitment Ryan Cline to lead his Indiana Elite team to the championship of the adidas Invitational in Indianapolis. Indiana Elite also won the adidas Super 64 in Las Vegas last week.

It is the first high-major offer for Weatherford and a potential game-changing offer in his recruitment.
Weatherford said he would discuss things with his family after leaving Purdue before making any decisions.
The 6-foot-2, 200-plus-pounder is also a Division I football prospect with MAC offers and interest from Big Ten programs, notably Indiana and Purdue. He has talked in the past of playing both sports in college, which would not be possible if he were to accept Purdue's basketball offer.
