In the spring, D’J Edwards almost nonchalantly admitted he had trouble getting places on time: Workouts, rehab, classes, whatever it was, he could be late or worse, not even there at all.

But in the months since, the wide receiver has undergone a lot of growth, his teammates and coaches say, maturing closer to a player who they can count on to be where he’s supposed to be when he’s supposed to be there.
