Michigan basketball target Akron (Ohio) Revere four-star power forward Pete Nance committed to Northwestern on Thursday afternoon. Both the Wolverines and Wildcats had been considered two of Nance’s leaders for a while, but the 6-8, 205-pounder decided to end the process and call Evanston his future home.
The Wolverines landed a huge commitment of their own earlier in the day, though, gaining a pledge from East Lansing (Mich.) High four-star power forward Brandon Johns. It’s fair to wonder if Johns’ commitment to Michigan had a domino effect on Nance, as the two commitments obviously occurred just hours apart.
