Michigan offensive lineman was Purdue's last visitor prior to dead period
Just before the lights went out on in-person recruiting for the foreseeable future, Purdue hosted a visit from a player it may be watching closely at a position of particular importance.
Offensive tackle Weston Jones visited in March for Purdue's final spring practice prior to the COVID-19 outbreak triggering an extended recruiting dead period.
The Rivals.com three-star lineman from Romeo, Mich., at least got a look at the Boilermaker program before things shut down.
"It was literally the day before," Jones said. "I just barely squeezed it in.
