Purdue alumnus Eugene Parker, a titan in the sports representation business, passed away at age 60 following a brief battle with kidney cancer, his family announced.
The Fort Wayne native was president of Relativity Sports and through his career represented such athletes as Deion Sanders, Rod Woodson, Emmitt Smith and scores of others.
Parker, a graduate of Concordia Lutheran, played basketball at Purdue from 1975-78, starting 100 of the 110 games he played in and finishing with 1,430 career points.
