Joe Tiller's great games at Purdue: 1997-99 | 2000-02

As part of a series of tributes planned for Joe Tiller on Saturday, the Boilermakers will wear a replica Tiller Era helmet for its game vs. Minnesota.

Purdue released its plans on Wednesday, days after Tiller, the program's all-time winningest coach, died on Saturday.

Before the 3:30 p.m. kickoff, Purdue will hold a moment of silence prior to the national anthem. During the first media timeout of the first quarter, a commemorative football will be presented on field to Tiller's son, Michael. Purdue will play a video tribute at halftime. Members of the '97 team will be recognized during the second media timeout of the third quarter.

Also, Tiller will be featured on the cover and inside of the official gameday program.

Purdue will sell commemorative buttons, with a tribute sticker (the same as the ones on the helmet) at locations throughout Ross-Ade Stadium, with proceeds going toward the Cowboy Carousel Center in Buffalo, Wy., and the Fabry Support & Information Group in Tiller's name.
