INDIANAPOLIS — Some quick analysis from Purdue's 88-80 loss to Notre Dame at the Crossroads Classic in Indy.
TREVION WILLIAMS' DAY
It's certainly not the biggest story on this day, in the context of Purdue's continued struggles, but Trevion Williams' play deserves prominent mention.
What his 10-point burst in nine-and-a-half minutes means for him moving forward remains to be seen, but on this day, it gave Purdue a chance, and in the long term, it gave the look of a player with a great deal of promise, an encouraging sign for the future.
