Purdue's defense forced 12 punts last week at Rutgers — tying the program single-game record. That included a punt after nine three-and-outs, as the Boilermakers largely shut down the Scarlet Knights.

Rutgers couldn't complete passes on third downs or, really, run the ball, as it was 3-of-15 in those situations.

Nebraska comes to Ross-Ade Stadium Saturday with an offense that has what Jeff Brohm called the best QB Purdue will face since Lamar Jackson (Tanner Lee) plus a running game that could pose issues.
