Behind the scenes: Gold and Black Illustrated football preview photo shoots

Jeff Brohm has called the Purdue job a "challenge" since he accepted the gig in December.

He's certainly been working last six months like that's true.

Brohm has been an "architect of change," making roster tweaks by bringing players in and ushering others out and trying to foster a new culture of competitiveness, among other things.

Gold and Black Illustrated's football preview magazine offers a closer look at those changes, including how players have responded to them, entering Brohm's first season as head coach. The 80-page magazine also gives in-depth, position-by-position looks at Purdue's defense and offense, checks in with special teams coordinator Tony Levine and offers a projected two-deep for fall camp. Kyle Charters chronicles senior defensive lineman Gelen Robinson's journey, and Stacy Clardie dives into David Blough's best trait. Plus, recruiting, a Big Ten breakdown and a look at every opponent on Purdue's schedule.
