Khali Saunders likes the direction of the Purdue program and wants to be part of it.

A three-star linebacker by Rivals, Saunders finished his 2018 season with 81 tackles, 61 solo stops and 3.0 tackles for loss. He also had three interceptions, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

Saunders attended Immaculate Conception in Elmhurst, Ill., a suburb of Chicago. IC is a powerhouse, winning three state titles in a row. Last season, Saunders helped Immaculate Conception go 14-0 en route to winning the 2018 Illinois Class 4A state championship.
