Viktor Beach already is en route to Purdue, as his family is making the trip a weeklong excursion from Fort Myers, Fla., stopping along the way in southern Indiana to visit family.
But by the weekend when players have to report for summer conditioning and classes, Beach will be primed and ready.
At least he hopes so.
He's been working hard since his football season ended at Bishop Verot to get his body prepared, hoping he can be the rare case of a true freshman offensive lineman who lands snaps as a rookie.
Beach spoke with GoldandBlack.com last week — before he jumped in the car — to share expectations and more in our "Entrance Interview."
