CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Purdue's offensive road woes persisted, but weren't the Boilermakers' only problem in their 63-37 loss at Illinois Sunday night.

The final margin may suggest that Purdue did nothing particularly well, but its defense was respectable, as it's been all season

Limiting second chances are part of defense, though, and that loomed large, but for the most part Purdue was OK at that end of the floor.

Problem, again, was offensive struggles moving the scoreboard in the wrong direction.
