Last summer, Stacy Clardie and Kyle Charters went head-to-head in a Purdue player draft of the team's 2016 roster.
This summer, the GoldandBlack.com staff is engaged in trash talking in another kind of player draft, one that includes a 20-year player pool, dating back to Joe Tiller's breakout 1997 team. Any player on Purdue's current roster can be drafted in that draft, but it's unlikely many will be.
So, to highlight the current group of players this summer — in an activity that surely will generate conversation — Clardie and Charters are ranking Purdue's top 20 players off the 2017 roster as it stands in early June. (Incoming players aren't eligible.)
