NEW ALBANY — Recently offered Purdue basketball target Brandon Newman showed why he's become such a closely watched recruit this spring and summer, standing out at Wednesday night's Indiana All-Stars scrimmage in Southern Indiana.
In the junior all-stars' loss to the Indiana All-Star team, the 2-guard from Valparaiso finished with 18 points, five rebounds, two blocks and two steals and backed down in no way, shape or form from Mr. Basketball Romeo Langford on defense.
