First-year starting center Kirk Barron has had an ankle wrapped and a shoulder braced for the past several weeks.

But he rarely has missed a game snap.

That's just kind of what it takes to be an offensive linemen, and he's not the only example on Purdue's front who can count toughness as a quality.

Barron talked health, the cohesiveness of the O-line with new tackles and much more after Tuesday's practice.
