SPARTANBURG, S.C. - As it seeks to replenish its frontcourt in the 2017 class, Purdue's begun taking a long, hard look at California big man Evan Battey.

The 6-foot-7, 275-pound Rivals150 member from Villa Park High School showed off his unique combination of size, power and skill at this week's adidas Gauntlet event in South Carolina.
