Hummel wins Big Ten award

Boilermaker sophomore Robbie Hummel has been named Big Ten Player-of-the-Week, after scoring career-high 25, with eight rebounds, vs. Indiana State and getting 15 and nine boards vs. Ball State.
The back-to-back performances came after Hummel missed Purdue's win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff last weekend with a back injury.

Hummel is averaging team bests of 15.6 points and seven rebounds, while shooting 51 percent from 46 percent from three-point territory and 93 percent from the free-throw line.
It's the second time in his career Hummel's won the weekly award.
He's Purdue's second honoree this season, joining E'Twaun Moore (Dec. 1).
