Jackson, a Decatur, Ill., native was stopped for speeding in neighboring Piatt County in the early morning hours Wednesday.
The 19-year-old faces charges of illegal possession and consumption of alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana less than two-and-a-half grams. The first three charges are Class A misdemeanors; the last is a Class C misdemeanor.
Charges were filed Wednesday; an initial court appearance is scheduled for Monday morning.
Jackson started 30 games for Purdue as a freshman.
