In Purdue's 11-point loss, the senior registered four sacks and five tackles for loss among his 10 solo tackles.
He also forced two fumbles, tying and breaking the Big Ten career record and matching the NCAA's career mark of 14. He recovered one of them.
It's Purdue first Defensive Player-of-the-Week honor since Kerrigan was honored Oct. 18 of last year, when he tallied nine tackles and three sacks in an upset of Ohio State.
